Rafael Salazar
Rafael was born in the Basque Country (North Spain) and moved to Scotland 9 years ago. Since then he has completed an Outdoor Education degree at Strathclyde University, and has become a highly qualified outdoor profesional. He holds the Mountaineering Instructors Award (M.I.A), is an aspirant M.I.C., and qualifications in raft guiding, kayaking and sailing. Rafael is as much at home in the water as he is on the mountains and has extensive experience organising trips to remote areas, such as the Peruvian Andes and the vertical big walls of Yosemite. Rafael has worked in the outdoor industry for over 9 years and has worked in the film and TV industry for 3 years.
